"I-It's a s-secret"

But I made this new species during my break at school, called Sekeys.
Usually when I make up species the females are usually the boss peeps pfft, so I decided to switch it up and let the males be boss peeps pfft. (so their is different information for the two pft)

Sekeys in general:
-Sekeys are creatures born from the lies people tell to keep their secrets safe that manifest into these beings.
-They are invisible to everyone, but their own kind. However,iftheywanttobeseenbyotherpeople,theycandoso,butmostliketostayinvisible > v >

Female Sekeys:
-In order for a female to stay alive she's gotta get a hold of someone's secret and "keep it".
-The person that they usually target is the person whose lies created them because hey, easy target cuz they're already there pfft.
-Although they are born from the lies used to protect their "creator's" secret, they don't actually know what "that secret" is, so they have to look into their subconscious to find it, or possibly one even better. In order to unlock and see into the subconscious they use a special skeleton key (that they are all born with attached to their body) to unlock it.
-They don't go for small secrets like, "I take pens from work home with me". No. They want darker, deeper stuff, like infidelity, murder coverups, etc.
-Once they find a secret that's to their liking they take it (although it's more like copying, because the person still remembers this secret even after the sekey gets a hold of it pfft ; v ; ) and consume it. Once the secret is locked away inside a special lock appears in the middle of her face, covering her mouth and blocking her from speaking.
-Also depending how serious the secret is, key-shapped earrings will also appear on her ears. If it's a super serious secret there is one on both ears, if it's really serious then there is only one, and none for kind of serious ones.
-With the lock on their mouth it's like "Oh how do they eat?". Well they don't. The secret is the only thing they need to thrive on and require to live, and as long as they have that they're good.
-Although female sekeys instincts guide them on how to start life....they don't guide them on how to deal with their worst enemies. Male sekeys. Also with no mother or older female sekeys to teach them of the dangers of males (because sekeys don't live in packs or anything and if they do run into another sekey it's usually one of the opposite gender), they usually fall prey to them.
-You would think that with the fact that knowing that keeping a secret was their source of life that they would be very reluctant on revealing them.....but when dealing with males, their secrets are the last things on their mind.

Male Sekeys:
-I think this would be a good time to go into the male sekeys becausetherestofthefemaleskindoftieinwiththempfft
-Unlike females, the males are NOT able to break into people's subconscious, so they are not able to view and take secrets like the females can. However, they too rely on a secret to survive.....but since they can't get to them....this creates a problem....that thankfully for them~ the females can solve.
-For the females, their instincts go and tell them to go harvest a secret, but the male's instincts tell him to go and harvest it from a female.
-The lock that appears on the female's mouth when she has gathered a secret is basically a "signal" for the male that tells him she's available for harvesting.
-They don't just go and be like "Yo bitch" *yonk* I took yo' secert, now you dead" pfft. Nope, they take things slow and play with their food before eating it. --They try to befriend a female first, so that she can feel comfortable around him and build up trust. Then once he feels like he's got that he may start to flirt with her and make small advances.
-Then when a female is inviting to kissing she'll let the male kiss her lock(since you know..that's where her mouth is suppose to be..but it's all covered up and stuff..so they have awkward kisses PFFT ) ....or...at least she "thinks" that's what he's doing...but he's actually trying to pick her lock open with his tongue, because male tongues have a sharp tip that serves as a pick for unlocking the locks on females.
-Once she realizes what he's actually doing though it's too late because he's unlocked it and the lock disappears.
-Once the lock disappears then the female is now able to vocalize once again (because while the lock is over her mouth she can't). And now that she's able to the male just has one last thing to dooooo
-The male has a keyhole on his chest that looks similar to the one on the female's chest, but it's not just a hole like the female's...there is actually a key residing in his.
-Once he uses that key on the female, it unlocks the chamber where the secret was held and is expelled like a gas out of the female's mouth, that the male then sucks in.
-After the male takes her secret the female dies whichisprobswhytheydon'thavetheirownbabies.
-And if she has the lil' key earrings, he'll take one and wear it as a "trophy" :iconmisotiredplz:
-Although males need secrets, they don't need them in the way that the females though...because instead of keeping the secret, "they need to go and expose it so that person can suffer from their lies". For example let's say a person's secret was that murdered someone, but so far there was nothing to incriminate that person with.....and then all of a sudden..some new "evidence" appeared that made that person be found guilty and have their "secret" be exposed, possibly even in the news, for everyone who watched to see.
-However, once the exposed secret has done all the damage it can do, the male has to find a new female to prey on and consume a new secret.

Extra info:
-Surprisingly, there are actually more females than males
-They usually come in gold and bronze colors, like keys
-The reason why males just don't take the females keys and use them, instead of killing them off, is because only the females have the power to make them work. The only keys they have only work on the females and they can't be used for anything else :icoimsotiredcryplz:
-Males can live longer without a secret than females can, because females die instantly once losing theirs, but a male can last a long, long, LONG,while before they need another one to use and expose.
-If the person's whose secret a female sekey has dies, then the lock falls off her mouth, but the secret is still locked in her chamber and it STAYS locked in. No male can get to it.....and because she did her job and kept that person's secret until they died....and that person now doesn't have to worry about their secret surfacing and coming back to bite them....then she gets the reward of being able to live off that secret and in peace without males bugging her pft (because they won't go after girls like that pfft) U v U
